The house that’s pictured from Louisa County; I’ve been past it several times, my parents live nearby. There are a lot of houses like that around there.
I’d like to get in touch with the person renovating the abandoned house in Kents Store. I drive by it on the way to my parents and have always peeked at it while driving by, as I love abandoned buildings. A while ago, I noticed someone started fixing it up, and am really curious about the project. It is the house pictured in this post. Thanks!

Swannanoa isn’t completely abandoned. There are tours of the house on some weekends this year. I went last year. http://www.virginia.org/Listings/Events/SwannanoaPalaceOpenHouse/

The house in Newport was in use up until just a few years ago. My grandparents are buried in the cemetery just up the hill behind the house.
